This application has been designed to quickly and easily calculate the wind additive by using the method provided in the FCTM (Boeing 737, 747, 767, 777, 787). This method takes 1/2 of the headwind component and adds the full gust factor. There is no correction for tailwinds.

The wind additions should not exceed the landing flap placard speed minus 5 kts.
